The language of Love for our pies is quality time.  It's not as simple as whipping up ingredients, baking them, and then voila, a delicious product.  Each batch takes 4 hours of precision baking.  For those of you who know, meringue is a beautifully fickle & temperamental key component of our pies. The amount of humidity in the air,  or limited time from the moment the mixer stops, to placing the crusts into the oven, to the way to cool the meringues, to the coolness of the refrigerator. Any of these along with several other factors can be the demise of any batch of our pies.  And that's just the crust!  Then there's the filling!  It must sit the right length of time to guarantee it has properly set before it can be topped off with the homemade whipped cream.  Each step can't be rushed and therefore quality time rules the roost!  You will see exactly what makes this treat like no other.  It's not just the love of baking for others, it's the quality time invested before it ever hits your taste buds.
